About the Artist: Yu Qiuhua (余秋华)

Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor · Jian Kiln (Jianzhan) Master

Born in 1978 in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Yu Qiuhua graduated from the Ceramics Department of Quanzhou Academy of Arts and Crafts, under the guidance of intangible heritage inheritor Lu Zhuxing. He dedicates himself to reviving ancient Jianzhan forms and glazes. In November 2018, his work was selected as diplomatic gifts by ambassadors from 22 countries.
