Biography
Yu Xuan (余旋), born in September 1985, is documented in the Yanping District government’s fourth-batch heritage list as a representative inheritor of 茶洋窑制作技艺, the Chayang Kiln making technique.
Chayang Kiln · 茶洋窑
This heritage designation is distinct from the Jianyang Jian Zhan heritage project. The older FSOC page incorrectly presented Yu Xuan as a fifth-generation Jian Zhan successor from Shuiji; that wording has been removed.
Identification
The existing FSOC photographs remain useful object documentation associated with the name 余旋. For individual pieces, use the artist’s signature or seal, certificate and provenance together, especially when a work visually resembles contemporary Jian Zhan.
