Wang Liqin
王立芹Contemporary Jian Zhan artist · 十六滴泪 · silver hare’s-fur · purple-gold oil spot
Biography
Wang Liqin (王立芹) is a contemporary Jian Zhan artist working in Jianyang, Fujian. Her documented work spans classic crystalline Jian glaze families and more strongly patterned contemporary surfaces.
Wang Liqin is part of a working ceramic family. Her husband, Wang Yongling 王永龄, is also a Jian Zhan maker, and their daughter Wang Jing works in ceramics.
Documented Work & Glazes
A published contemporary Jian Zhan collection identifies Wang Liqin with 十六滴泪建盏 (“Sixteen Tears”). Commercial archives also document pieces under her name described as 银毫 (silver hare’s-fur), 紫金油滴 (purple-gold oil spot) and 八釉珠油滴.
These market terms are useful for mapping the range of surfaces associated with her name, though seller wording should not automatically be treated as an artist-assigned formal glaze classification.
Marks & Identification
The retained documentation records the mark 王立芹制. Attribution should compare the mark together with the vessel, clay body, glaze, documentation and provenance.
