Biography
Lin Jianfeng (林建锋) is a Jian Zhan artist from Jianyang associated with Hongyi Jianzhan Ceramics Co., Ltd. (宏益建盏陶瓷有限公司). He studied under Chen Chunhua (陈春华) and developed a practice that combines traditional silver-blue Jian ware firing with brighter contemporary crystalline and color-reactive glazes.
Glaze Research & Signature Works
Lin’s best-known series is 牡丹王 (Peony King), a floral crystalline glaze whose layered reflective structures recall peony petals. The series is produced in multiple vessel forms and is independently visible in current commercial records under his name.
Other documented lines include 金秋 (Golden Autumn), with warm silver-gold crystalline color; 曜烨牡丹, a blue-silver peony treatment with dense crystal texture; and 百合 (Lily), a softer layered floral pattern.
Technique
