About Gu Panhong

Gu Panhong (顾攀虹), born in 1988, is a contemporary Jian Zhan artist. Luhuaping Jian Zhan lists her among the disciples of Sun Fukun 孙福昆, placing her within a documented Jianyang teaching lineage.

Practice & Works

Gu’s work has been shown in contemporary Jian Zhan exhibitions. A 2022 exhibition record identifies two works by her: 红粉佳人花瓶 and 金丝彩毫盏. The same record identifies her as a senior ceramic decorator and as a member of the Nanping Arts and Crafts Association.

Identification

The artist’s Chinese name is 顾攀虹. Certificates, base marks and complete vessel photographs are useful when matching individual works to the artist.
