田丰Songjing Jianzhan 宋景建盏 · Shuiji, Jianyang · rabbit-hair, purple-gold and oil-spot work
Biography
Tian Feng (田丰) is a Jian Zhan maker from Shuiji, Jianyang and founder of Songjing Jianzhan (宋景建盏). Published profiles describe a father-and-son studio in which Tian Feng works alongside his son Tian Jing (田景), combining traditional Jian ware forms with a broad range of contemporary crystalline and colored glaze effects.
By the late 2010s Tian Feng was already described as a veteran maker. Reporting around the Jian Kiln and Jian Zhan Cultural Expo shows him glazing and preparing work at the Songjing studio and identifies him with long-term firing practice in Jianyang.
Glazes & Representative Work
Published examples associate Tian Feng with rabbit-hair, purple-gold, blue oil-drop, colorful lotus-flower and other kiln-transformed surfaces. His work ranges from dark traditional Jian glaze families to brighter modern color effects while retaining iron-rich Jian bodies and tea-bowl forms.
Awards & Recognition
Secondary reporting records a gold award for Tian Feng’s Dragon-Kiln Rabbit-Hair Bowl at a China International Tea Culture Expo in Ningbo, a gold award for 彩莲花 at the 12th Cross-Strait Crafts Expo, and a gold award for a Blue Oil-Drop Bowl at the 18th China Arts & Crafts Masters Boutique Expo. The same profile reports his selection among Jianyang’s 2017 Jian Kiln/Jian Zhan “Top Ten Craftsmen.”
Family Studio
Tian Feng’s son Tian Jing 田景 also works in Jian Zhan and is documented as having entered the craft under his father’s influence. Their shared Songjing studio is an example of contemporary Jian ware knowledge continuing through a working family workshop.
