About Wang Yongling (王永龄)

Wang Yongling (王永龄) is a Jianzhan artist from Jianyang District, Nanping City, Fujian Province. He is a member of the Jianyang Jianzhan Association and has received multiple awards for his innovative and traditional works in Jian ware.

Awards and Achievements

• In September 2016, his work Traditional Black-Silver Spots won the Gold Award for Outstanding Arts and Crafts at the 10th Hefei International Cultural Expo and the 2016 China Arts and Crafts Boutique Expo.

• In July 2016, his work Purple Gold Dongkou Lid won the Gold Award at the 14th China Arts and Crafts Expo for outstanding collectible works.

• In February 2018, his piece Rabbit-Haired Jian Bowl with Shallow Mouth was collected by the China Academy of Painting and received high praise.

• In September 2018, his work Pingbu Qingyun Pair Cup won an Excellence Award at the 3rd Fujian Ceramic Tourism Souvenir Creative Design Competition.

• In September 2018, his work Large Oil-Spot Jian Cup received a Bronze Award in the “Min Art Cup” Fujian Ceramic Art Innovation and Creative Design Competition.

• In October 2018, his selected replica Song Dynasty Jian bowl was awarded the Bronze Prize for “Most Artistic Jian Bowl” at the 36th Chrysanthemum Cultural Festival in Kaifeng, China.

• In October 2018, his work Purple Gold Lid won the Gold Award at the 2018 Jingdezhen International Ceramic Expo, honored as one of “China’s Top Ten Famous Teaware.”
