About Shangxi Guoci (上玺国瓷)
Shangxi Guoci, established in 2017, is a cultural heritage porcelain brand known for preserving the traditional firing techniques of Jianzhan ware. Collaborating with master artists such as Sun Kangrong, Qiu Yucheng, and Chen Jinwang, Shangxi blends ancient artistry with modern aesthetics.
Each piece is handcrafted in Shuiji, Jianyang, using natural iron-rich clay (铁胎) and fired at 1300°C to produce stunning, natural glaze effects — such as oil spots, hare’s fur, and starry sky patterns.
