About the Artist – Li Min (丽敏)

Li Min is a contemporary Jianzhan ceramic artist working under the Longhua Kiln brand, marked with the inscription “龙华窑清.” Her work reflects the enduring traditions of Jianyang’s Song Dynasty heritage, where Jianzhan cups were treasured by scholars, nobility, and tea masters alike.

Drawing on centuries-old techniques, Li Min uses local Jianyang clay and carefully controlled high-temperature firings to produce pieces with deep, lustrous glazes. These unique patterns enhance the visual beauty of the cup and enrich the aroma and taste of tea.
