About the Studio: Kuangufang 宽古坊
Kuangufang brings together outstanding ceramic artists and craftsmen to research and develop unique carving techniques, expressing the beauty of ceramics through craftsmanship. The studio employs over twenty artisans, working collaboratively to create high-quality works with both artistic and practical value.

Sun Yiyuan (孙哎谢)
Sun Yiyuan (born 孙哎谢) is a nationally recognized inheritor of intangible cultural heritage and a core member of the Kuangufang studio. He serves as president of the Dehua Ceramics Association and holds the title of senior arts and crafts master in Fujian Province. He is also a professor at Fujian Business College.
Sun has earned the national title of First-Class Senior Technician and is an awarded ceramic artist at the national level. He has developed innovative ceramic materials—such as wood-ash porcelain clay—that have received national patents. His work also includes the invention of an energy-efficient, smokeless kiln system, for which he has obtained official certification.

Xu Lingtao 许庆钻
Xu Lingtao is a nationally certified senior arts and crafts master and a leading figure in the Fujian ceramics community. He serves as president of the Fujian Ceramic Carving Association and vice president of the Fujian Provincial Arts and Crafts Artists Association. His influence spans both artistic excellence and institutional leadership.
Xu has been awarded the titles of master artisan in multiple disciplines, including ceramic sculpture and glaze painting. He is a recognized inheritor of intangible cultural heritage and has been honored with national-level teaching awards. Xu also serves as a senior expert for vocational skill training, a guest professor at several institutions, and a faculty member at Quanzhou University of Arts and Crafts.

Wu Xuemiao 吴学苗
Wu Xuemiao is a Chinese ceramic artist and senior arts and crafts master in Fujian Province. He is recognized as a representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage.
Born into a family of ceramicists, Wu Xuemiao carries forward the traditions of his lineage while developing works that have been collected by many renowned museums. His artistry reflects both heritage and a refined personal style rooted in the world of ceramics.

Huang Guanghua 黄光华
Huang Guanghua is a Chinese ceramic artist and senior arts and crafts master based in Fujian Province. He has been recognized as both a Provincial Arts and Crafts Master and an Intangible Cultural Heritage bearer. His deep knowledge spans multiple disciplines including ceramic design, carving, and traditional craftsmanship.
He serves as the secretary-general of the Woodcarving Professional Committee and also holds credentials as a certified senior technician, architectural engineer, and arts instructor. Huang is known for integrating architectural precision with traditional ceramic techniques, making his work both structurally refined and artistically expressive.
