About He Hua (何华)
He Hua is a respected master in the revival of Song Dynasty hare’s fur (兔毫) Jianzhan. He is the founder of the “San Se Tuhao” (Three-Color Hare’s Fur) technique and serves as a senior expert in the academic team researching traditional Jianzhan reproduction techniques.
- Born: 1954 in Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian
- 1979: Began ceramic work at Shuiji Porcelain Factory
- 2017: Featured in Chinese National Humanities (Issue 5) as a pioneer in Jianzhan reproduction
- 2018: His work Yingxian Yaoxing Tuhao Zhan was officially included in the Chinese National Humanities collection
- 2021: Interviewed and featured in Eastern Collection (Issue 139) for a special report on Jianzhan
He currently serves as the chief supervisor of the Jianyang Jianzhan Research Institute and holds the title of International Master of Industrial Arts and Aesthetics.
