Cai Zhenjie (蔡镇杰) is a dedicated craftsman of JianZhan tea ware from Shuiji, Jianyang, Fujian. Specializing in traditional iron-bodied ceramics with mineral glazes, his works capture the spirit of ancient Song Dynasty craftsmanship while embracing contemporary aesthetics.

His pieces are distinguished by their vibrant and mystical glaze effects, often drawing inspiration from nature’s fleeting moments — mist, clouds, and reflections of light. The signature style, as seen in his 七彩祥云 (“Seven-Color Auspicious Clouds”) glaze, embodies a delicate balance between technique and artistic expression.
